I wanted to goof off with different layer settings, so I said "hey, why not do it with a fanart100 piece?" So I am killing two birds with one stone.

My fanart100 theme is 'Snape under 21.' This is #82 on the list of prompts. My personal theory is Snape had a little crush on Lily (thus her superb ability at Potions) but the feeling was not mutual. So this picture is a peek into Snape's imagination. He wonders if he were with Lily, would he be any happier?

Trying to make it look like one of those photographs from the '40s and '50s that were hand-colored and so blatantly fake (thus why the coloring here is garish and fake-looking...it's supposed to be). As since this never happened outside of his mind, a fake atmosphere was necessary. I used scribbly line art to make it grungy. (Smooth lines and a grungy-colored background wouldn't have meshed well).

Otherwise the whole this is messy because I was just goofing around.
